BTS Women's AW17

September 27 2016

It's been a busy couple of weeks for the Tee Ink team as we shot our Men and Womens AW17 campaign's and prepare to design our next collections.
Here's a little sneaky peak bts of our women's shoot.
We chose 4 babes to make up our ultimate girl gang. It was perfect weather as we ran around the Gold Coast to 3 epic locations. With all the car's jammed packed, stills and video to be shot, and our largest shoot team yet it was total chaos but as always a super fun day on set.

Models: Brooklyn Kelly, Isabelle Mathers, Sasha Baldwin and Nina Gonthier.

Look, it's no secret the world is obsessed with denim. And why wouldn't we be?! It goes with everything, it looks rad, it's comfortable and there's a style out there to suit everyone. With denim on our minds we chucked up a white sheet, put together our favourite looks and called in our girl Bee to show us how it's done. All denim pieces featured are currently 50% off. Don't hesitate. Don't think about it. Just get it on your body!

LIFE WITHOUT ANDY

February 12 2015

WE SAT DOWN FOR A QUICK Q&A WITH OUR SNAP-HAPPY LOOKBOOK COLLABORATORS LIFE WITHOUT ANDY TO TALK SHOP ABOUT CRAFT, CREATIVITY AND WHAT MAKES THEM CLICK. INTERVIEW WITH MITCHEL ROSS.

TI: So there were three of you on the shoot and you’re all called Mitch. What’s the go with that?

MR: Our parents are copy cats I guess haha… We all grew up within 5kms of each other and all our parents knew each other well before we were born so maybe they were all lacking a little creativity on the name front.

TI: You’re called Life Without Andy. Did he get the flick because he wasn’t called Mitch?

MR: People often ask why didn’t we call it Life Without Mitch, it would have made much more sense huh? Life Without Andy is basically a reference to Andy Warhol. We’re all hoping someone names their company Life Without Mitch in reference to us one day haha.

TI: Who’s killing it behind the lens at the moment?

MR: There are so many people’s work we enjoy looking at, and nowadays instagram makes everyone’s work super accessible which is rad. I could go on forever so I’ll keep it local and it include our friends, Rodd Owen, Jack Bennett, Rocket Weijeirs and Luke Schuetrumpf.

TI: What’s inspiring you this week?

MR: Good coffee, Kevin Spacey, meeting new people and life.

TI: Remember your first client?

MR: Hard to really remember who first gave us a couple bucks, but first significant one that we were heaps excited about was Mink Pink. Shout out to Della.

TI: When you’re not shooting you’re…

MR: Hanging with our partners, catching waves, playing at the beach, playing basketball, watching basketball, listening to music and watching tv series’ & movies.

TI: Second home is…

MR: Sydney. Newcastle is our first, California is our third.

TI: What’s in your carry-on?

MR: Computer/reading material to make the trip go quicker. Hoodie to hide under when trying to sleep and Rinocort to prevent the sniffles.

TI: Shooting fashion models seams like a pretty good gig. Tell us something shit about it so we can stop being jealous.

MR: Sometimes the model might not like us, so we have to earn friendships which is tricky sometimes, but even that ain’t all that bad. All in all to shoot pretty people is tits.

TI: Something you’re looking forward to this year?

MR: Winter (cause it’s real hot atm). Sounds like a cliché but more time with friends and family, booking more and more beaut jobs, watching more live music and visiting our hometown a little more…

TI: What are you shooting with right now?

MR: Generally use Canon Cameras. They have never failed us over the years so why change? Still waiting to get a random email from them saying they would love to gift us some cameras lol.

TI: Cameras are kind of heavy. How close do you think we are to being able to take photos straight from our eyeballs?

MR: 8 years time and stuff like this will be close.

TI: Dream shoot? Alive or dead.

MR: Frame of mind right now, Kurt Cobain.
